1.31 Why does FS98 lock up when you try to search for a European navaid?

It doesn't lock up. It takes a looong time. Two to three minutes, maybe more, depending on the speed of your CPU and HD access. Once you have it, its not of much use because its so big and not organized. If you have Europe on your hard drive, a better way is to get NAV 1.8, for free, and have it build a database file of all of the Europe .bgl files. These will show on a world map and can be zoomed down to the individual runway level. IDs and frequencies are shown on the map and detailed information such as altitude and ILS true course are listed in a text table. The program has many other features to make your flying experience more enjoyable. Try it, you'll like it!
