10.3 How do make my rudder pedals work with FS98?
From FlightSim
Q:
BOTH THE JOYSTICK AND RUDDER PEDALS WORK IN THE WINDOWS 95 TEST PROGRAM. I START FS98 AND ONLY THE JOYSTICK WORKS. THE RUDDER PEDALS DO NOTHING.
A:
I encountered this same problem after I installed the new FS98 patch. The way I found to solve the problem was to go into custom controls and then into assignments. If you pan to the bottom of the assignment list, you'll see that elevator, aileron and throttle are assigned to axis 1, axis 2 and axis 3 (Not necessarily in that order). What is missing is axis 4 assigned to rudders. When I clicked on "Restore Defaults," axis 4 appeared by the rudder and the rudder pedals then worked.
