11.17 When I download the converter it showed up as FSCONV98.XLU - how do I open it?

WHEN I DOWNLOAD THE CONVERTER IT SHOWED UP AS FSCONV98.XL7. HOW DO I OPEN IT?

The correct filename should be fsconv98.exe. I don't know how it got the .xl7 extension. Try renaming it to fsconv98.exe. Then simply run it as a program and follow the instructions on screen.

For some reason your browser changed the extension. Rename the file fsconv98.exe. After that all you need to do is double click on it to install it. You are not the only person this is happening to. A few others posted the same problem. It's just odd that the file extension gets changed.
