HOW CAN I REBUILD FLTSIM98.CFG? 

A:

"To rebuild the Fltsim98.cfg file, press the CTRL+SHIFT key combination on your keyboard when you start Flight Simulator 98. The Fltsim98.cfg file contains some joystick-specific information and, as a result of rebuilding the .cfg file, some of the joystick settings may change. When you start Flight Simulator 98, press and hold down the CTRL+SHIFT keys until you are in the cockpit. Flight Simulator 98 will detect your joystick and make the appropriate entries in the Fltsim98.cfg file. The appropriate entries will be made providing the joystick is listed in the Devices.cfg file and it is registered correctly in Windows."
