I HAVE ABOUT 360 MEGS OF SPACE STILL CLEAR ON MY HARD DRIVE. SHOULD I REMOVE FSFW95 BEFORE INSTALLING FS98, OR INSTALL FS98 RIGHT ON TOP OF FSFW95? 

A:

You will avoid a number of potential problems if you uninstall FS95 first. Installing FS98 "over-the-top" can cause some significant grief. Use the uninstall software option in Control Panel to keep the registry OK and then manually delete whatever is left - including the FS95 folder(s). Your FS95 add-on panels are not useable in FS98 but the scenery and aircraft are. Save the add-on scenery and aircraft somewhere before you do the delete. You'll need to get the new aircraft/adventure converter for FS98 and there is a patch from MS as well. All are available from the Files section of this site.
