11.8 How do I capture images images from scenery in FS98?

Q:
I JUST WONDER HOW YOU CAPTURE IMAGES FROM "LIVE" SCENERY. I MEAN, WHEN I GO SEARCH I.E. THE NEWEST FILE IN THIS SITE AND I SEE AN AIRCRAFT, MOST OF THE TIMES IT IS A SCREENSHOT OF AN AIRCRAFT TAKING OFF OR LANDING FROM/TO SOME AIRPORT, AND IT SEEM LIKE A PICTURE TAKEN FROM THE SPOT PLANE VIEW. HOW DO YOU DO THAT?
A:
If you change to spot plane view, and get set up the way you would like the picture to look then press the PRINT SCREEN key on you keyboard a screenshot will be put into the clipboard. All you have to do is open a graphics program such as PAINT (which comes with Windows 95) go to the edit menu and click on paste (you'll probably get a message saying the picture is bigger than the viewing area, just hit ok) and your screenshot will be pasted into PAINT. Now just save the file and you'll have it. You can then use it for desktop wallpaper or whatever else you want to do with it.
This is a Windows function and will work anytime you want to take a screenshot, not just in FS98. Just remember you can only take one picture at a time. If you take a second without pasting the first into PAINT, the first picture will be overwritten.

If you want to do captures in 3D mode the PRINT SCREEN function won't
work. For this, try a shareware program called HyperSnap-DX; you can
download the trial version here on FlightSim.Com.
