3.6 Why don't I see any instruments on my downloaded panels?

I ALWAYS INSTALL THE DOWNLOADED PANELS LIKE IT IS WRITTEN IN THE README FILES. BUT WHEN I START FS98 I ONLY SEE A PART OF THE PANEL. THERE AREN'T ANY NAV, ADF OR ILS INSTRUMENTS ON THE SCREEN. THERE IS ONLY THE BACKGROUND PHOTO OF THE COCKPIT BUT THERE AREN'T ANY INSTRUMENTS.

First, did you install the *.gau files into your \gauge directory? Then make sure you copy and overwrite the panel.cfg file in the \panel directory. Should work if everything is in it's proper place. Look at the default Lear directory structure - your add-on planes should look just like it.
