3.9 Why does the EGT gauge seem to wrong on almost all FS98 planes?

Q:
THE EGT GAUGE IS GOOFED UP ON MOST ALL FS98 PLANES, INCLUDING THE DEFAULT CESSNA.
A:
As I've been doing a lot of work with the flight model stuff lately, I've noticed something that might be of interest to the prop drivers. Have you noticed that the EGT gauge is goofed up on most all fs98 planes including the default Cessna's? Seems it 's a scalar problem I think. Anyway, all you have to do to fix is go into ADE and edit the offending plane. Go into the engine section and change the EGT scalar from 1.0 or whatever it's set to and reset it to 0.4 . I have done this on a few planes so far, Baron, Cessna's etc and seems to cure the problem. And it seems that same 0.4 number works for all the models. Yeeehawww! So now finally have a working EGT gauge. It's a must for me to get a proper mixture setting. I've tested using this fix at all altitudes and seem to be perfect. You will get a perfect mixture with the EGT needle set right in the middle.

I have also found that using the Extra EGT gauge makes
things a lot easier to read. Also, the Extra right and left fuel
gauges solve the fuel gauge problem as well. They read in percent
and will therefore work in any plane, even that Electra 10 containing
thousands of gallons.
