5.11 Any ideas on controlling taildraggers on the ground?
From FlightSim
ONE MINOR ITEM THAT REALLY FRUSTRATES ME IS THE LACK OF CONTROL ON THE GROUND, WITH TAIL DRAGGERS (EX. DC-3, C-47, B-17 ETC). F11 and F12 ONLY LET ME TAXI IN A BIG RADIUS. SETTING AILERONS AND RUDDER AGAINST THE WIND ALSO DON'T HELP. ANY IDEAS?
Yep, I agree on that. And I haven't seen a suitable cure yet. But
fs98 really needs rudder pedals to do taildraggers right. The key
rudder entries too slow. Takes 3 weeks for me to get the control
moved.

I've also noted that you need to goose the throttle to cause enough
propwash to influence the rudder. When you're headed for a building
crash or just running off the taxiway, the tendency is to cut the
throttle, but that, in effect, disables the rudder also. Differential
braking also only works if you have some headway. Sometimes you can
turn by holding down the F11 or F12 key and gunning the engine.
Usually, though, it works best if you are rolling at 10 kts. I have
trouble too.
