5.1 How do you land without bouncing the plane?

OK. LANDING ON FS98 STINKS. NO MATTER HOW GOOD I LAND THE PLANE IT ALWAYS BOUNCES!! WHY HOW CAN I MAKE IT NOT BOUNCE AND IT IS NOT CAUSE I LAND BAD BECAUSE ON FS95 AND FS5.1 I NEVER BOUNCED!

Being rather new to the flightsim world, I had the same problem until I got used to flying the particular aircraft. Hummmmm, kind of like the other real world aircraft. In other words, practice, practice, practice. You too will grease it on. One thing that I always tried to instill in a student pilots mind was the fact that the aircraft can fly better than him or her. In other words, try letting the aircraft do the flying when possible. Sure, flightsim aircraft do not have the same flight characteristics as do real aircraft in some cases, but they are close enough to let us "phantom phlyers" practice our techniques. Have fun, altitude below, airspeed behind.

It seems that the default aircraft are a bit finicky when landing and tend to bounce. Try downloading the Embraer aircraft and giving that a go, seems to stick to the ground pretty well.
