6.11 How to measure distances and read TAS in Nav 1.8?

Q:
HOW TO MEASURE DISTANCES AND READ TAS IN NAV 1.8?
A:
I was playing with NAV 1.8 last night and if you hold the right mouse button down on a point and drag it to another point on the map, it shows the distance at the bottom of the screen. It draws a line between the two points also. If the distance is long enough, the line becomes a "great circle" arc. Pretty cool! Also if you use the "Fly To" option of selecting a point for the "GPS" to navigate to, the distance, the ETA, the heading, the altitude and the TAS are shown at the lower right of the window, when you have the link connected. This is another way to read the TAS.
