HOW DO I MAKE A FLIGHTPLAN IN NAV 1.8?

A:

Zoom in or use the "find" function to find the departure airport in the list function. Highlight it and click the "details" button. Once the detail info is showing, you have the option to "send to plan". Do the same for the destination airport. Now click the "Flight Plan" button and you will see the two airports listed. Click on the "airplane" button to load the right aircraft performance data. Click the "options to set the max. distance between waypoints and what kind of nav aids are acceptable. Now click the "auto route" button and the plan will be completed. If it looks good save it because it is easy to lose the whole program if you hit the wrong button. There is a button on the main menu to "show only the flight plan data". If you minimize the flight plan and hit this button you will see the flight path fron waypoint to waypoint. This can be printed out if you don't want to switch back to it during flight. Playing around with the many options and functions is the easiest way to find out things. I did!
