Q:

I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY LOADED NAVDASH. UNFORTUNATELY I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO LOAD WAY POINTS USING THE LATITUDE/LONGITUDE COORDINATES.

A:

In regards to properly loading co-ordinates, just use Notepad and make a text file with the co-ordinates in it. Be careful though. You cannot use the TAB key. You have to hold the space bar. As for the spacing, I don't know the exact spacing required, but just use the sample file included to figure that out. With the North, South, East or West situation, it is a "0" for North, and "1" for South in the first set of co-ordinates, and "0" for East, and "1" for West in the second set of co-ordinates. If you enter the co-ordinates using Navdash itself, then you have no manually go back to the text file and change the "0"'s in the second set of co-ordinates to "1" for West instead of East. As for the Vector line, that should come up automatically, depending on which co-ordinates you have entered. Enter the co-ordinates of an airport of your choice and a VOR or NDB close to that airport, and check to see whether the Vector line comes up. Hope this helps.
