IS THE STB VELOCITY 128 A 3D CARD? WHAT SHOULD I DO TO MAKE IT WORK WITH FS98? 

A:

The STB 128 card is a 2D/3D card and is capable of better 3D in some ways than the Monster 3D. I have a Dell D300 with a STB128 and I also have a Monster 3D that I transferred from my old computer. The 3D quality is just as good with the STB card ( I would say better because you can go to much higher resolution with the STB). Also GPS and some of the other add-ons that don't work with the Monster in 3D work well with the STB card.

You need to select the 3D driver for the STB under display options in order to see the 3D effects with that card. Also you must be in full screen mode as you will only get 2D in a window.
