7.1 Windows reads my Cyrix CPU as a 486 and my video is affected.

I HAVE A CYRIX 166+ CPU AND 32 MB RAM. I AM CURRENTLY USING A STEALTH64 2001 VIDEO CARD. THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I INSTALL FS98 WINDOWS READS MY CYRIX AS A 486 AND SO I HAVE TO SET UP EVERYTHING TO READ PENTIUM. MY PANELS ALL HAVE A BLUE AND GRAY LINE ON EACH SIDE OF THE ATTITUDE INDICATOR AND I ALSO NOTICE THAT THE PROGRAM REVERTS TO USER DEFINED-MEDIUM IN THE DISPLAY WINDOW.

The fix is called 686_p.exe and can be downloaded at http://www.accesssoftware.com/tech/updates/updates.html

What it does is mask the Cyrix 686 and makes the computer think it is a Pentium till you shut down again.
