7.20 Any ideas on how to get rid of black skies?

ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO GET RID OF BLACK SKIES? 

A:

The only thing like that I've seen was some distant areas turning black. This was on my Righteous Orchid in Full Screen 3D mode, and only happened if I had the 8-bit textures checked in 3D prefs. I unchecked that and the problem went away.
