WHAT IS THE BEST THE DIAMOND VIPER V330 OR DIAMOND MONSTER CARD? 

A:

The monster is a 3D stand-alone card that works alongside your existing 2d card. Therefore when you are running 3d, you cannot run 2d programs at the same time, such as GPS, Squawkbox, Navdash, etc. The Viper on the other hand is a combination 2d/3d card that is very versatile. You can run these add-on programs at the same time you are in 3d, and you can run 3d in a window. For this reason I would suggest the Viper.

The Diamond Monster will add to your existing video card and do a super job. If you have a very old video card, for the same money you can get one of the new Riva 128 2D/3D cards and achieve the same results. Those cards are Diamond Viper 330, ATI Expert@Play, and I think there is an STB card, but the name escapes me.
