Captain Bala was a very prolific contributor to the forums in the days of FS98, and somewhat into the FS2000 days.
At the time he was an airline captain on an airline operating from India. He also had been a Mig pilot in the Indian Air Force. In addition to contributing considerable technical knowledge in the field of aviation, he had many interesting stories.
Captain Bala quickly gained a tremendous respect from the folks on the forums. His contributions in this FAQ are captured from his responses in the various FS forums on flightsim.com.
