Best angle of climb speed

At some Indicated AirSpeed, the aircraft will achieve the best balance between propulsion efficiency and drag to provide the most altitude gained for the distance covered over the ground. This is the best angle of climb speed (sometimes called Vx). It is usually also very near the best glide speed.
