Can I import FS2002 planes into FS2004?

You can, but it isn't straightforward - dragging the aircraft folders from one version of FS to another may leave important bits of code (mostly gauges) behind, so the best thing is to do a complete reinstall. Be warned that some planes may not work and that only the developers can fix them.
