I cannot seem to get the radio to work on any flight!?

Am I supposed to hear radio traffic or see text boxes. They are on the rightfrequency and switched on.

A:

Only Comm 1 will work (with or without add-ons), and Comm 1 will only work in FS2000 with ATIS. No ATC chatter is built-in. However, with programs like Radar Contact 99, Squawk Box, etc., you'll get a lot of comms. Comm 2 is for looks only at this time.
