keyboard doesnt work when i load PMDG 737 NG

I am having a problem here; when i load my PMDG 737NG
the keyboard on my laptop stops working so i cant exit FS2002
the only button that works is the windows button then i have
to use task manger to close the FS down.

I am stumped because i have used this aircraft before and its
worked beautifuly this is only just happend and every other aircraft
in my sim works fine i have even reinstalled no luck

can anyone help?
