Hi
I have been on the Nvidia website and downloaded the latest driver for my graphics card version 8.16.11.9107 Windows update is now trying to update the driver but the version is 8.15.xx.xxxx why would windows try to update to an earlier version?

I've had that happen with ATi video cards as well. Not sure why Windows Update thinks it has the newest one. I just ignore driver updates from Windows Update, especially for video cards.

I have had windows update try and include a driver update in the "optional" updates available when it downloads automatic updates.I just never accept the optional stuff and get mine directly from nvidia.
