Just do some research and build it yourself. You'll have a blast! EVERYTHING you need to know and more is available online to help you assemble it. Also, check your local big box book store (Borders, B. Dalton, etc) and check their computer magazines. Once a year PC Gamer magazine puts out a "How to build a computer" issue and it usually stays on the shelf for several months. I buy one each year, just in case. VERY helpful. Once you build your first computer, you'll never buy a pre-built again. Not to mention the knowledge you'll gain about how your computer works.

Good luck!

He's right... your always better off buidling. you get more computer for your buck to. This is the first one I have bought since 93? 94? somewhere in there. The only reason I bought it is because I was on the road contracting and my notebook bit the dust and I needed one right away. It was an OK deal and I could take care of business right away. If it wasn't for those circumstances, I would have built alot more machine for the money. Oh yeah, you will have a blast and you will learn alot.

That's looking like a pretty nice system, although as has already been mentioned the intel stock coolers aren't up to much.

I've just built myself an i5 based system without any major problems. Main advice I would give is take your time and plan your build. Whilst it is a UK based forum there's some good advice and a guide to building here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sho...php?t=18046396

Congrats on that decision... you will not regret it when you get it all up and running! Plus, the feeling of accomplishment afterwards. I would go ahead and go to the MB sight wherever it is and check the latest BIOS and Chipset drivers out and have them ready. You dont know how long the board has been shelved.
