FSpassengers problem..

omg i need help on FSpassengers!
*i hacked the program so i can buy aircraft at $0
*and then suddenly fspassengers kept having errors(when I click on an aircraft in company manager, a popup ERROR comes up, and i have to press OK to close it)
*all the aircraft do not show up under aircraft maintenance
*and i cant sell the aircraft away either! (the same error message pops up)
How I hacked :
From the source, I followed the methods. I changed the empty weight of the aircraft in the aircraft.cfg file to 0, so when I buy that aircraft in FSP, the price will be 0. What should i do??? I don't want to delete the company and start over again...

Sounds to me you shafted yourself by some cheap ethics.

how about switching off career mode? that way you wont have to worry about purchasing aircraft plus you wont have to ''hack'' the entire thing. as you've seen, it can cause a lot of hassle doing so.

Also, You can create a special livery entry in the aircraft.cfg file by giving it a unique name, say ? "Boeing 737NG FSPax Variant", being sure you are designating the texture as, say, "fspax". Then create a folder called texture.fspax AND just copy the textures from the livery folder you want to use for each flight to the FSPax variant folder, and VOILA! you only have to buy each model once.

Yeah, I had a problem with FSPassenger once...the problem: I had it on my PC. I do FS2004 for fun, not to be under any form of pressure reminiscent of that found in a real-life airline career.

If you must cheat, at least do it right. Go back to that link and read it again. You seem to have only completed half of the suggested changes to the aircraft.cfg file.

But I did change the aricraft's weight back to its original weight after pruchasing it. IMMEDIATELY.
