Sounds like your having trouble comming OUT of reverse.
When I hit arround 70 - 80 kts, I move my throttle on my joystick up and back to idle.
This returns the engines to idle. Or you can push F1.

About the Marker Beacons.
The sound for them is off by default. If you bring up your radio stack its the
button that looks like a radio tower, at the bottom you will see several lights/knobs.
Those are what you are listening to. Find one that says somthing about MKR or BKN
or something that would abriviate marker beacon (cant remember exactly right now)
Click it and it should light up. Then as you fly over the Outer Middle and Inner marker
beacons, you should hear them go off, along with a Blue, Amber, and White lights Comming on.

Couple of questions - once I touch ( thump ! :-) ) down I throw the engines into reverse with F2 and hit the brakes, sometimes I get it right and am able to taxi nicely off the runway but often I end up being too heavy with the throttle and end up reversing along the runway while desperately pressing F3 to bring the engines to idle - is there a single key stroke to idle the engines?

I never hear the out-marker alarm as I fly over it - missing in FSC or is there a way of turning it on?

thanks,

Andy
