STAR WARS : Episode II, did anyone watch the film yet ??

How was it ??

Is Palpatine already the "dark imperator" at the end of that film ?? Or will he be it in Star Wars Episode III ??

I know that Anakin will be Darth Vader in Episode III, but what's up with the others ??

Thanks for your info, I'm thinking about going to the cinema next week...

I've seen it twice Jens. Palpatine is more emporer like in 2 with subtle hints by things he does and says. He is also known as Lord Sideous (spelling). Anakin lost his hand in this one, remember the big battle with Luke when he lost it them and the fact that Luke has the same thing? Over all an excellent movie, so many characters are tied to Star Wars episode 4; Uncle Owen, Boba Fett, Greto etc.

I thought it was a great movie! The battle sceans were amazing and the specail effects were outstanding! If you have seen the other star wars movies this one helps to bring everything together, I give it two thumbs up!

It was about 75% better then the 1st movie, not 100% because it still has jarjar in it.

It's an OK movie....have only seen it 5 times so far....should see it more than the 13 we saw TPM in the theaters....

I've been really busy, so I've only been able to see it twice so far. It is a very good Star Wars film, better than ROTJ and TPM, I would put it on a par with TESB. Yoda proves why he is called a "Master" Jedi.

The entire Jedi Counsel, besides Yoda, dies in the next episode. Also Pademe dies, I think Jar Jar dies, and Duku (or however you spell his name) is killed.

The only good Jedi's that survive will be Yoda, Obi Wan, Luke and Leia.

I wonder if the year spans between 2 and 3 will have the births of Luke and Leia and we will only see references to them. Natalie has to nice a body to be pregnant!

I saw it last night, its great. Yoda was awesome in the last seen, kicking some major a$$.


and, btw, it is MUCH MUCH better in digital than it is in regular, it just happened that we have one of 60 digital theaters in the country. The picture is so much more sharper and more detailed.

I believe most here in Seattle went to Cinarama... remodeled Digital Theather, THX sound system... where i was at, front row, left side 9, seat 3... the chairs would vibrate as the crafts would go by, Oh how i would have LOVED to have seen the POD Races in Episode 1 right there!!

I think the other digital theather would be either Pacific Place or Merdian 16 in Downtown Seattle.

Oh my god. You people who go and watch films at the cinema more than once baffle me somewhat. Twice maybe, but any more than that? Sad, frankly. ;-)

The guy who saw TPM 13 times? Very bad indeed. Go out into the countryside you people. Get some fresh air, experience the world. Don't waste away in the cinema, your pale white skin peeling and your muscles slowly stiffening up. I suspect you might be somewhat on the large side through lack of exercise too. Get this sorted. Do a bit of jogging. All that pop corn can't be good for you.

It's not as if the new Star wars films are any good is it? They're a money making sham. A tasteless rip off of the original trilogy, and you people are fuelling this money machine. Gullible!!!

Saw Episode II yesterday for the FIRST and ONLY time until it becomes a rental. My wife started to nod off a few times during some of the scenes with a lot of dialog.

Great digital effects, fight scenes, and sound as expected from Lucas and company. However, I thought it was not a superior film for all the hype over the past year or so. It was better than Episode I, but still not as exciting and fun as Episode IV and V, which certainly earned my extra dollars to see the movies again and again.

Now back to driving trains...

VERDICT: Great movie!!! BUT...was a little long in the teeth. To much sappy crap. Also, they keep LEAVING the droids!!! C3PO as a fighter...THAT was funny!!!

My lady also fell asleep at one point....BUT...she worked and only had 4 hours of sleep.

I was against the "digital" Yoda UNTIL the fight scene. Lets see a puppet do THAT!!! The before the fight, and after with Yoda are comical as well. See it to know what I mean.

And Fatcontroller, in regards to getting out......we that answer this HAVE to get out to give a review of the movie......which means we SHUT OFF our computers for a bit.....What is your excuse?? }>
