There will be a E60CP version, too, #951.
And some repaints... (Can you guess what ?)

Like all my models, this is a frame-rate killer : Around 8500 polys.
Anyone there who wants a low-poly-version ?
But this will have not as much details as the other one...
Probably we need one for the replacement loco, because it will REALLY drop your frame rate, if this one is used for many AI trains (activity traffic).

Anyway, thanks to all for reading this thread and I hope this looks better to you than the crappy Kuju "thing". ;-)

Is it just me or are you doing the KUJU's ufo like trains from scratch to create better models than thiers or are you just doing this by coincidence ? would you please do the HHP-8 over. The skin is messed up so my MARC HHp-8 was like painting Mona Lisa 100% acrate of the word draw tool. your partners at NAWL are going to pakage it one i correct an E-mail problem. good luck. I look forward to having a real E-60. You may also want to do a AEM-7.

Sweet !You are making great things for this game.Keep it coming. I was hoping i'd see some e60 pictures from nalw soon.
One thing i noticed on your loco is the front of the e60 is too tall . Well I'm no expert but from this picture it seems your's may be a little too high. Just trying to help you improve your model.

GREAT WORK JENS!!! This one looks awesome. Sure like to have this one. But as you had mentioned about frame rates, I have a medium spec system. So, I would really like to have a low poly version. I believe even your low poly version E60C should be much better than the one supplied by MS?

The screenshot was taken from Lightwave, which is the program i use to build the model. It's being developed for "that other sim" though... so i'm afraid someone else would need to make the msTS one. :)

Jens-Chris has proven that german ENGINEuity (get Engine, Train Engine,HA!Ha!) will always be at the top. I can't wait to get his E-60. We will now need a AEM-7 and better amfleet cars.

Now with this Acela at the top, If that program can convert to .3ds then we can convert it to MSTS format. We need a good Acela, Kuju's Acela is relly a pice of old trash on rails. Keep up the good work every one!

Well i can export to either .3ds or .max so if someone reliable wants to do the conversion, i may make the mesh available to them once i'm done...

(reliable as in, likely to do good work and actually finish it ;-) )

Great job on the E60 JensChris. And yes you've made it true to the prototype, unlike the Kuju model, however we have to give them much credit for their groundbreaking work on MSTS, without which our new hobby would not exist as it does. You're doing some admirable work on all of these fine locomotives and we're cheering you on.

If you are referring to DYVACH's Acela post, he already has. It's available in the lib, Filename is ACELHSEL.ZIP, along with a light fix and repaint of the cars to match by me filename ACELCARS.ZIP Here's a shot at what it looks like in MSTS
