The F59phi is available in the file library, look for cascade.zip, or search using F59, there are several versions out there. I don't know about the Talgo's but the F59's are a good start...

Are you sure that they were the Talgo cars? I Haven't seen them in the library, only an Amtrak California Superliner.
I know there are a few F-59s in there somewhere but I don't think they are in the green, cream, and brown scheme that Amtrak Cascade uses. As far as I know they're all in the California scheme.

Yeah, they're actually cascaide.zip, they mispelled it, but I found it by searching for amtrak locomotives and scrolling through them.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-14-02 AT 12:47PM (EDT)[p]Actually, searching for just "cascade" without the .zip got me to both versions of the f59..
But I noticed in the f59's second version's picture, there looks to be talgo cars attached!?!? They must be somewhere on the web~!?

the "cascade" was my first project, the talgo cars are a repaint of the train magizine's "spanish team's" talgo. but I got in trouble for releasing the repaint. I think that it is still in the train-sim.com's archives. but I'm not sure. if you can't find it e-mail me and I will send it to you. it isn't the best looking repaint ever but it is a good start. hmmm..... mabey I'll think about tackling the cascades as a new project. Stay Tuned!
thanks

Thanx all, I found the file. It'll keep me busy for a while, but I really think the loco and cars have alot of room for improvement. No offense to the modeler of the cars or loco of course. But I know I don't have room to talk because I'm no modeler.

Thats awesome that you might be doing the Cascades. If you do, please let me know when the project is done.
Thanx

Speaking of AEM7. Are the sound files for the MSTS AEM7 going to be the real sounds of the locomotive and train brake etc or will the be copied from another locomotive
chucksc

RWIW, On the development model, I am using a modified version of APSEL sounds....

when you guys create sound files like that do you have to record them from the real locomotive cab
AEM7AC 920

One more thing Chuck is it possible to add a pantograph selector switch In the MSTS AEM7 model that way i can raise and lower both pantograph's like amtrak does for sleet scraping operations

Does Anyone know how to delete something from MSTS without causing a error to occur
cn_bayview
08-12-2002, 03:58 PM
Hi,
If you've put it in an activity delete the activity.
Download ConBuilder and after deleting the locomotive or car,go to Test units and the click test consist and then click "delete consist with errors". Then there shouldn't be any errors.
Hope that helped.
