The have been working today without any crashes :o, after I made new second level model(based on the first level, as the simple box didn't work). I still have no idea about the problem, but it seems to be fixed now. Maybe it was related to the non-planar polygons.

The SP set now includes Black Widow scheme, the Bloody Nose is still there but with edited textures to get better color/grey.

There was lots of random crashes in the editors and in the game. Sometimes they worked well and sometimes there was crashes, like these:
-select engine, save consist, cancel consist editing or just open the consist.
In the game:
-start activity or explore, change view, suddenly during drive, exit activity, exit game(!) etc.

All these occured after a while of use! And some models didn't crash at all on my machine(RDG loco), but for others they didn't work at all. TSM definitely needs an error checker for other possible errors than hierarchy.

I found something that may be of help on the H24-66's....

Came across a 30 year old audio cassette that I made, when SP was still running them in commuter service. The tape is of FM #3033 from San Francisco to San Jose. It's no perfect audio, but would this be of help in developing sound for the H24-66's?

The tape was made with the recorder in the vestibule of the first Harriman coach right behind the loco.

Enocell, these look great. Wish I had the talent, capability and time it takes to do these. By the way your Newark and NJ railroad is a masterpiece!

Would you also reskin a set of H-2-66's for the Virginian Railroad. These units were well known in the mountains of West Virgina and Virgina in the 50's and early 60's before N&W took over. By the way, a blue N&W would be nice too.

For all who read this post: As for the Virginian, I have seen a HO Kato C44-9W modeled in that scheme as a fantasy item in a N. VA hobby shop, since obviously the Virginian didn't make it past the early 60's. It looks great! I might possibly could geA train-sim model of an AC-6000, C44-9W, SD70, and/or SD80/90 in the Virginian colors would be a great addition to any mountain route if someone would like to take that on.

Another suggestion would be a route covering the Virginian from Roanoke, VA to Deep Water, WVA if anyone would take that on. It had the big and small steam, diesel and electric (from Roanoke to Mullens I believe). As it was a big hauler of coal out of the West Virginia mountains, there was a lot of coal mine action as well.

One more thing. My affection for the Virginian goes back to a granddad who made a career out of working for that railroad until he retired in 1959, 4 years after I was born. He was the greatest grandad I could ever have had and I wish he was still here to enjoy all this!

Thanks again everybody for all your hard work which makes this sim great!
