Hey all, I was wondering, 1. Is there a way to make the windows on my new CN Dash9 transparent again? 2. Are there any Paint By Numbers things (Like the Geep one Robert had) available for the Dash 9?

I can send you the files I used to make my CN loco if you want magik (If you're here too), and you can tweak it if you want. Maybe you'll be able to add yellow stripes and white handrails. I couldn't figure exactly where to put them.

If your windows are not transparent you screwed up the alpha channel in your .tga file. The easiest way to fix this is to get the .tga file from a working locomotive and then copy your entire bitmap image onto it and then save it as your new locomotive's .tga file.

OK, thanks Nels. It occurred to me that in the early stages of my skin, I changed the format extension so I could edit it with PSP, then changed it back to tga after I was done. Thanks a lot, that should fix it!

Hmmmm... tried that and wound up with a totally transparent cab! I used the Dash 9 .tga file in the samples directory. Don't understand it, it looks fine in Photoshop and as soo as I create the .ace file and copy it everything disappears. If I use a bitmap, the windows are opaque.

Spoke too soon. Tried it a second time and it worked!
