Is anyone planning to do a L&N Railroad route to Louisville to Nashville and other cities like Bowling Green??
Thanks

I do in fact plan to do this route -- provided I can figure out how to get the first piece of track laid out at the right azimuth angle etc.
Grew Up in Nashville, and feel like L to N, and N to Chattanooga is part of my backyard. My late Uncle ran the PanAM in the 50s, and I went railroading with the Southern in 1965 (research Engineer), and just finished 20.5 years with CSX and retired this past spring.
I am hoping that the Abacus product recently announced will simplify some of this stuff. Also hope to get a copy of the cybex book. I have read all of the supplied material, and also am checking the messages, but getting the first piece of track laid correctly is TOUGH.
Being retired from the CSX Engr. dept., I have unofficial access to data such as track charts etc. There is, however, a small problem with material from the Internet. You will find that most of the images, and topo maps that you can download have coordinates in some universal system, whereas MSTS wants you to provide real world cordinates as lat./long. data.
