Route Name: Downtown Trolley v1 in MSTS folder: DowntownTrolley

Description: A ficticious urban and interurban transit route. Electrified to "Mesaba standard" catenary height (6.2m). Additional mainline trackage without overhead wires connecting with the trolley system, good for a few miles of passenger or freight running and some shunting.
Installation: 8 spanned zip files - unzip into the ROUTES folder.

Freight or Passenger: Mainly Passenger (trolley), some freight facilities along the route
Location: Ficticious
Length of trolley route system: Urban trolley system with 8 branches of 3-4 miles each, interurban mainline 45 miles, 3 interurban branch lines of ca. 4-6 miles each. Total trolley/intrurban track ca. 85 miles.
Length of connecting mainline tracks: ca. 15 miles, including some freight sidings & spurs
Number of sidings: ca. 30
Number of yards: 5 industrial yards along the interurban, one transfer yard mainline/interurban, 2 smaller yards and some sidings/spurs along the dieselized mainline.
Mixture of dual and single track: Mostly single track on the interuban, dual track urban trolley branches, dieselized mainline is 75% dual track.
Level of trackside detail: Highly detailed scenery, includes signals, mile markers, speed limits, crossings, car spawners, and sounds.
Amount of scenery completed: 100%
FPS specs: 8-25fps with 512mb RAM and 64mb video card.
Activities provided: A few sample activities come with custom stock are being worked on and will be made available separately. A choice of explore path start points is provided with the route.
Stock required: Dedicated Valley Transit stock pack available as separate download.
Add-ons: Requires X-Tracks 3.11 and NewRoads 3.1

Payware or Freeware: Freeware
Problems:
- High density of scenery causes slow fps in parts of the downtown area.
- Several loops are present on the entire system, requiring users to plan AI and player paths carefully in order to avoid problems from closing a loop or circle. Reference to this pecularity is contained in the documentation coming with the route. A selection of sample AI routes avoiding the loops are pre-installed, their use is recommended to activity authors.
