I can hear the OK to Proceed whistle and voice only when in the cab.
I have previously been able to hear it in external views and
have searched and tried all the previous suggestions to this forum without finding a cure.
Have even deleted all the AE-'s with regedit with neither success, nor any other adverse side effects.
Your help would be appreciated.

I sort of have the same problem except that I don't even hear the conductor in the cab. I don't know what happened but I can't get him back.

Joe - we need to establish where this problem originated. I suspect the "timetable"
Did you edit or change anything there?
I did!
I am hoping someone will come up with a cause and solution.

I have the same problem. I no longer here the conductor in any views. I suspect the man is right, and its the result of me medling with the timetable as some of the activities are still ok.
I suppose I should look further into what I have done but I use the F10 option to see the time and highball when the station stop time runs out.

Andy there are 2 factors in the F10 display:-
The timetable time the train is due to depart and/or the time required to load/unload passengers. Both of these have to expire before "OK to proceed"
Even then it can be 15 to 30 seconds before the conductor wakes up and looks at his/her watch.
Hope that helps - I have still have not solved the cab only audio for OK to proceed. Am wondering if a sound card would help.

Perhaps this explains the passengers I keep leaving behind.
The virtual Amtrak is in trouble as well.
