I am currently working on my AMTRAK Empire Builder activity and I have a question about loading and unloading at platforms.
It seems some platform markers are a fair distance apart, such as the Whitefish platform, and stopping there to load and unload is easy.
However, the platform markers at Essex and Browning are quite close together and I have problems getting the load and unload function to pop on the screen in the F-10 view once I get the train stopped.
I have tried many times stopping when my distance to station is zero (0) but that does not always trigger the load/unload depending on where I am stopping at.
What am I missing?
I usually have no success at Browning at the platform but if I stop and slowly reverse my train the distances will be in the negative numbers and the load/unload will pop in the window for a few seconds.
Any thoughts out there on how to make this work everytime without fail?
I am using Marias Pass version 3 but have had the same problem in the original MSTS version.
I have looked at the platform "markers" in the activity editor and that is where I have seen that some are closer together than others.
Any help sure would be appreciated.
