Now that the track is down for my Timesaver "Pocket" route I made my first attempts at creating activities for it. Since this is a switching layout, being able to use the front coupler is essential. So I installled the MS patch and tested it out with some short consists in "Explore" mode. Seemed to work fine. Some stickyness with uncoupling from some cars, but with some practice with the engine brake I could get around that.

However, once I started to do some switching in an actual activity, crashes galore. The most common crash seems to occur after coupling to a car (front and rear!) and starting to back up. It will often freeze for a few seconds, then I get the dreaded MS "Send Report" dialog. I also have a problem with one of the default BN boxcars. It derails no matter how gently I couple to it.

So, right now I've got a nice little route thats all dressed up and nowhere to go. :-(

btw: I am interested in finding beta testers for this route. I'd like to find a few individuals with fairly solid route and activity experience. If interested, please email me at stationmaster@railwaystation.com to apply.
