I'm presently working on a highly complex recreation of a well known cab signalling system. While the signal logic I understand, i just can't get the cab signals to come up right in the cab editor. I need 32 frames, and Im only allowed 8. Is there something I need to do? I'm using the Acela cab mounted on the Thalys acela repaint. The signalling system needs 32 aspects and I'm using a custom ace file to produce the 32.
Why 32? Because thats how many are required to give speeds between 270 and 0 over the 5 block sections ahead - hence very complex.

Without access to a Software Development Kit (SDK) of some sort, we seem to be restricted to the set of features supplied with the original program.

I have only been able to develop modifications to the appearance of the existing cab signal sequence (including fixing the KUJU ones which are wildly wrong) but no more than this. I have made about six variations so far.

There's a heap of other things that we need like the MARY box someone asked about.

Well I've managed to restrict it down to eight displays showing the five blocks ahead, with 4 speeds displayed (in km/h: 270, 230, 170, 0). This is realistic apparently. However, this means that I need to program the signals to work in the same way. Does anybody mind high speed lines only in a route? The integration between signal and display will be the stumbling block. Hopefully any SDK or MSTS V2 will support multiple definable signalling systems (ie, you can have different signal systems which don't all work together). I don't think that under the present system we have I can develop higher speed displays with accurate showings in the cab. Hence I will be limited to TVM300, Vmax=270km/h (which I'm working on) and can't build TVM430, Vmax=300km/h+. Sorry.

BTW: Can anybody help build the sign for block sections on TGV lines? The Yellow Triangle sign.
