Hi!
For my last model (french diesel-electric BB67001) the cab is complete, but I don't know how displaying the "engine RPM". Nothing found about that...
Any ideas?

An excellent looking locomotive and a great cab view to go with it. Excellent on both counts.
With regards the RPM, this is another item to add to our list of demands! There is no RPM monitor currently available.
If you want to have something there are a couple of ways of making (an entirely inaccurate) one. If you are really desperate: find out the behaviour of the real thing. Does it simply rise with speed, or does it vary like a car RPM as you change gears? What is the idle RPM for your motor?
I suggest that you could use the speedometer to give a steady rise. Make the idle rpm position on the display your zero value. This will show idle revs when stationary. Adjust the arc of the needle to go from idle to your max position. So, the measuement will be 0 - max speed but on screen you will see idle to max rpm. Problems would be circumatances like wheelslip - high rpm, no speed - would be wrongly displayed as low rpm.
The ammeter (not load meter) could simulate a modulated or geared rpm. Same drill as above; set the idle rpm as 0 power and the max power to max revs. Again the readout is nonsense but at least it will the impression of a working gauge.
We really need an SDK!

Thank you Samspade for your suggestions. I agree with you: we need an SDK!
