View Full Version : Cab file clarification for gp38cbsig.zip

You may have noticed that there are 2 files in the "Cab" downloads area that have the same description. There was one minor error in the older file gp38cbsig.zip. If you downloaded this file, you may want to edit 1 line in the gp382.cvf file.
Find the line (using wordpad) in the section "DYNAMIC_BRAKE LEVER" that says
Graphic ( DynamicBrake.ace )
and change it to
Graphic ( "..\\..\\GP38\\Cabview\\DynamicBrake.ace" )
this file will be in two places:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\TrainSimulator\TRAINS\ALIAS\GP38\CABVIEW
and
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\TrainSimulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\GP38\CABVIEW

If you downloaded the file gp38bsig.zip, then you have the corrected version. I have emailed Nels and asked him to remove the incorrect version. Sorry about the trouble. Direct any questions to my address in the readme file.

Email Nels and ask him to remove the older one. Keep the confusion down.

Hey Kevin, you must have quickly scanned my post and missed the last couple of lines:

Anyway, I had done so, and Nels has already responded back and has removed the file in question. Thanks
