Just so everyone knows, there is a fix for the Flying Scotsman's cuffing sound timing. It's available in the file libary under: sndfix09.zip.
"MSTS Flying Scotsman Sound Bug Fix. Two modified .sms files that link the chuffing sounds to wheel rotation, instead of locomotive speed. By Meeko Lewerk."

Library? How do I get to the Library? Is there a readme file that tells me how to install the sound fix?
Thanks

Hey puttputt
You go 3 blocks down Broadway, turn right on Main Street and cross the street at mid block. It's the last building on the left.
Actually, Go to the bottom of this page, below the track section on the right and click File Library. You have to register again to get in. They do allow talking in this library.

I've downloaded a couple of US engines, and I've been looking through this forum for the "chuff rate" fix.
Somebody said that the Scotsman is a 3-cylinder engine. Now, my dumb question is this: what sort of sound/visual disparity is there on a US engine using the Scotsman fix?
Thanks.
