I recieved the Abacus LTV Mining set addon and the sounds are
about as unrealistic as it gets. The Alco rs11 sound is great
would work with any alco or ge unit. The GP-20 sounds just like
an Alco rs-11, and the F9 doesn't even sound like a locomotive.
I attempted to convert the GP-20 to the emd 40 sound from this
site and also convert the F9 to GP-38. It almost works, you get
the outside sound and inside track sounds. Theirs no inside
engine sound. I have reverified the .eng file and the sound file
and files are correct. Abacus must have made a change somewhere
else to alter the inside sound if you make a change from their included sound.
Any ideas?
