Hello,
I have found that the Acela horn doesn't sound anything close to the real thing. I have the real bell, horn and engine idle but now how do I convert them onto MSTS.

They need to be 11,025 Hz, 16 bit wav files. The files that start with x_..... are the exterior sounds, the ones that don't have the x_ are interior. The exterior ones are mono, the interior can use the same files, but need to be converted to stereo. As an example of a horn and how to set up the loop, so it can play continuously, check out my sound file in the file library for the NP GP-9 horn and bell. Open it in a sound editing program and you''s see how it is set up.
Once you have the files in the right format, just rename them the same as those used in the sound file of the loco you want to use them in, then overwrite the files.
Hope this helps,
Steve
