Hi all,

Cool, we have a forum. What are you all up to? I'm just about to release my Milwaukee Speedrail Cincinnati curveside car. I spent a few hours yesterday updating the interior, and it is almost ready to go. The repaint potential is great, I can already think of about ten poddible colour schemes, some of which involve window modifications, but all easily possible. I'll post screenshots tonight, and hopefully upload in a day or so, once I figure out the last niggling problem, that of pole height. It seems that TSM records the height as 20ft, but it is too high for routes with 20ft set as the wire height. Hmmmm?

As far as I've seen, the traction scene is exploding. There is Joseph Spinella's excellent Sydney R class tram, Bill's smooth ITS parlour trailer car (with its excellent interior view), Tim Muir's very nice repaints of my Milwaukee 1100, a groovy Chicago Aurora and Elgin repaint of the same car and the 1100 itself. There are two different steeplecabs and a box motor under way, as well as some modern European light rail vehicles. Of course, I couldn't forget Matt H's sweet PCC. For heavier stuff, look at Joe H's Pennsy MP54. I'm working on the Speedrail car, a Mesaba Electric car to go with Dave's groundbreaking route, some more Milwaukee cars and repaints (speed stripe and war bond colours), a Sheffield light rail vehicle, a Birney car (good for repaints) and some other projects in early stages. Anyone else, I'm sure to have forgotten something?

Cheers,
Matt A

LAST EDITED ON Jun-03-02 AT 10:27PM (EDT)[p]Hey Matt! A Birney! How perfect, I'm glad that you are going to do one, cuz that was going on my to-do list. :-) So, that'll leave room for a Brill Semi-convertible double-trucker! After the steeplecab and boxcab, carbarns, powerhouses, dams, high-tension towers, .....;-)

Cheers! And Thanks to Nels!

Tim
~PS, Matt, I've got the steeplecab's trolley pole set at twenty feet exactly in TSM, and that's where it sits in the Sim. I don't know why your "60"'s pole is too long, if TSM says 20'. Hmmm....wierd....
