Pirpen,
A very good tram route. Already had the Strassbahn, so it went like a breeze. How much more will the expansion be?
My computer specs are in my profile.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-14-02 AT 07:01PM (EDT)[p]Just a quick question. In the install readme, it says that I need to copy the textures from the other routes. Do I copy ALL of the textures from the 6 default routes into one big folder withing the new tram route? Sorry for my stupid question, I'm not too smart with such things! Looking forward to the route.
Thanks,
Matt A

Hi Matt!
Yes, you must copy all the shapes and textures folders, of the 6 default routes, to the Number one folder. And then copy the Shapes and Textures folders from Number One Tram Route folder to the Number One folder.
I have been working some more on the route. Putting in two more lines and and more buildings.
Here are a couple of pics:

Two questions:
Is the white-orange car UV type from Budapest (Hungary)?
From which site can be downloaded?

Hi Pirpen,
Thanks for the help. I got the route going, and it is an excellent route. The feeling of driving trams in the built up urban environment is very well done, along with the stretches of private right of way. It reminds me of the tramways in Melbourne Australia, where I grew up. We have the largest tramways system in the English speaking world with 238km of route mileage (or is that kilometerage!) Your route, along with Dave's brilliant Mesaba Electric will be the standard for MSTS traction fans. Thankyou for your work, I look forward to the next beta.
Cheers,
Matt A

Hi Matt!
Thanks for your kind words. I have two new lines now, and started building a
park (mini central park) in the city. I also have made a small airport.
All the buildings are in place now, but trees and bushes are still to come.
Iīm thinking of doing the cable-lifts as trains, so both they and the vehicles
are working. If Sjoerd (who made the cable-lifts) think itīs OK!
I donīt think i release another beta. It will be version 1.0 next time.
And signals and some real activies is gonna be in it!

Hi!
Iīm working on with my tram route. HP a member of the swedish e-buzz forum, gives the route itīs signals, right now.
And Alexander Pohleman has give me the permission to repaint his great T4D tram, to give it Number One colors.
So i have now repainted 8 trams for the route, and they are gonna be released in a pack, when i release version 1.0 of the route.
They all have edited company names (on the sides), but it is easy to guess the real ones! A few of the companys:
Panasonix, McRonalds, Intell, Coca-Kola, Volwo and so on..........
At: http://msts.e-buzz.net/ you can download the beta of the route, under: Routes/Misc
Some pics, of the repainted trams, and one of the park in the city:

Pirpen,
Great looking screenshots. It will be a pleasure to download the completed route when it's ready.
As for the repainted trams, well my furry friend is licking the monitor.
