Ah, yes, I feel like a picture.....been awhile. A new version of the 48-ton steeplecab has emerged from the barns. The 1940's era with a new trolley pole, extended catwalks, 5 resistors, new shorter headlights, retriever mounts, larger end-railings, and black paint. I almost lost this one due to a corrupted .s file somewhere along the converting process, but I tried it again after many frustrating hours, from "square one", starting over from the beginning, and this time it worked. Here she is ready for uploading in basic blackish......

Thanks,

Tim

Hi all,

Yep, I've been quiet here, although holidays have been fun. Here is a screenshot of my latest little effort. I've got about six irons in the fire at the moment, from finishing Dave's Mesaba Electric passenger car and combine, to Ryan's Sheffield LRV, to decent cabs and soundfiles for the cars I've already released. The beauty of this 'breezer' is that it can be widely repainted, and it has already shown itself able to be modified into a single truck saloon car, a sprinkler, a breakdown car and a freight car.

Cheers,
Matt A

Six irons? Is that all? ;-) Hey Matt, this is your best yet! I hooked up a couple to the Brill 11-window and it's a Sunday trip to the park!

Hi,

Wow, an other great car! The traction fleet is growing and growing. It will be nice if that open car also come as a real car. I don't know how you called in the USA, but I mean a car that must be pulled by a motorcar. So without cab and pole.

Hi Tim and Dick,

Do you want a trailer? Easy peasy! I'll put coupling drawbars on and take the electrical stuff off and post a screenshot tomorrow...

Cheers,
Matt A

Hi,

Double thanks Matt. You called it a trailer. Ok, I have to remember that. Thanks. Here in Europe nearly all tramway companies had trailers. But now they are mostly gone. However there are some companies like Leipzig, Bielefeld, Rostock that have ordered modern trailers.

Hi all,

How about this. All I did was remove the pole, roof walkway, controllers and headlights, and renumber the car. This car has a simple texture map os repaints will be easy.

Cheers,
Matt A
