I've got a bunch of new sound samples. Been fooling with acelacab.sms, and acelaeng.sms.
BUT, when in the cab view, all the running sounds seem to come from a whole 'nother sms file, something like: "japantrack0in.sms" or a similar one.
I can't find how the PCC links to that file, whichever one it is. Is this something accomplished inside one of your compiled files, perhaps one of the .ace files?
If I can get to that, I can replaced those sounds we all know and love(?) with some PCC inside track running sound(s).
I've got an MG set sound, and it works with the throttle, but so far only in power "0." Still experimenting with that.
Also have the bell ringing in exterior sounds, that was easy.
Anyway, if you (or anyone else) can give me an insight into controlling the interior running track sounds, I'd sure appreciate it!
Exterior running sounds, too, for that matter I guess.
