Apparently, it's possible to run electric locomotives and cars on the Denver & Rio Grande Western Narrow Gauge Route that was recently released by Andy Miller (Version 1.1), and is available in the Train-sim.com Library as ctsrr.zip. Here's what to do:
First select an electrified route (Northeast Corridor, for instance). Then select the electric car or loco you want to run. Then select the D&RGW Cumbres Pass route.
I don't know what's unique about this particular route. I haven't been able to do this on any other non-electrified route, so far. I did not have to change the .eng file to do this.
Here's Tim Muir's PRL&P Brill #1051 testing outside Antonito. No overhead wire, but what the heck, take the trolley to Cumbres Pass.
