Maybe this statement might help....
It is very much like any level crossing out west, you have to be VERY lucky to see a train. Anyone that has seen what the screenshot should look like I hope would tell you that it looks like the real thing.
If it doesn't I'll explain more :)

1)There are lots of closed lines,
2)There are lots of open lines,
3)A lot of the freight hualed out west is grain, which is only hualed once a year,
4)Very few trains run out west at the moment, most trains out south or north.

And you take a screenshot by pressing Print Screen, then going into picture editor and press Ctrl+V. If you are in MSTS, press Print Screen and the picture will be saved in the root folder.

Well, I'm trying on a suit right now, so I guess not too long ;)
As to your 'roo and emu comments when I happy with skills (which working of plans I'm happy with, but without a plan I am hopeless) I will attempt them. If not, could always model a 50 cent coin and enlarge it several 100 times. :D

I dunno, Georgi, even between the two of them they're not as gabby as I am, I got a T-shirt that says "Help, I'm talking and I can't SHUT UP!"
As far as no traffic being realistic, it depends on where you are and what you're used to. One guy said there was too much AI traffic on the PO&N because the track he lived near was a single track mainline and there was only one train per day. There is a line (Minneapolis St. Paul & Sioux St. Marie, "SOO LINE") about 3 miles west of me that only gets about one or two trains per day, but most of the rail lines in my neighborhood get a bit more traffic than that.

Nice pick you got there. I live just by CSX's track - the one that there was Amtrak derail about 2 months ago.
(15 mins from scene, 5 mins walk to same tailroad)
It's pretty busy railroad cause MARC and Amtrak uses it too.
I gotta take pics one of these days (with my low quality 640*480 Digital cam) and post them.
