Now,

I am a Multiplayer Newbie as far as Train-Sim goes with my first run being May 8th on the Whitefish 2 Route.

Now looking through various posts I see things that may make things a little more interesting.

1 - Dispatchers should be assigning crews their trains ( type & car count )

2 - Dispatchers should be assigning power types ( Dash 9's - Sd40-2's )

3 - People should post an in-game pic of their train BEFORE the session

Any opinions on this ?

It may add a little more to the sim if you are used to running a passenger train and one multiplayer session your stuck on a slow freight

Hi Tim,

You have some great ideas. I've been working on putting together a kind of "virutal railroad" based on CPR operations on the Laggan Sub. This would give the participants the most realistic experience possible.

Once a week we would conduct an operating session, and you would get called for a train and the consist details would be sent out to you. If you ran from Calgary to Field the next week you would have to take a train from Field to Calgary. If you missed a week you would lose you "turn" for that week and end up lower on the totem pole. :7

I spent four months learning CPR's crew calling system in school, so I think I could replicate the system quite well.

I'm got quite an extensive plan, the problem is finding the time to document it all.

If you want to know more or help out organizing give me a shout at apickell@rrmail.net
