It sounds like a lot of fun to do a multiplayer session with MSTS. I already downloaded Team Speak and I'm ready to go, but I think there might be a problem if I try a multiplayer session.

I've noticed that I cannot minimize MSTS on my system. This means that if I want multiple windows operating at the same time, usually MSTS crashes and ends. I've noticed this when I was on MSTS and someone sent me an instant message. My MSTS session froze and immediately crashed. So I fear that as soon as I try and talk to the dispatcher, or someone tries to talk to me, my MSTS session will end and freeze up.

Does anyone know why I can't minimize MSTS on my system. I am using XP as the operating system. Are there any patches to download that might fix this minimize problem I'm having? Even if I can't mutiplay, I'd like to try and fix this problem, as it is a pain to keep closing down MSTS and reloading when I'm fixing lights and other things in the .engs and .wags. Hope someone can help, cause I'd love to multiplay.

Until my new system gets here (hopefully tomorrow) I've been running Train Sim on my old one and getting online and signing onto Teamspeak on the laptop. Not so much because my system can't handle it but because for some reason the microphone wants to go static on this computer but not the other. Several people do that to facilitate text-only users.

Have you tried running MSTS in windowed mode?

Also, it's not required that you be able to see the text messages in-game...so if you fire up Teamspeak and have your push to talk button set you shouldn't have the need to minimize MSTS.

Well windowed works perfectly. I can minimize and run other programs so looks like I might be on some multiplayer session soon ;)

Thanks for the suggestion
